What do you think of my book project?
I did a book project on the book I read chew on this. Please read all of it and tell me what you would grade it if you were my teacher! Any ideas on improving it?
CHEW ON THIS!!!
Book by Eric Shlosser and Charles Wilson. Report by Zach Samani
The book I read was chew on this and it was about how fast food can be dangerous. It talks about the disguting way they make fast food, what they put in it, how much americans eat of it, how people get sick from it and how much money the companys are making from it. Here are some facts.
1)Americans spend more money on fast food than education.
2) If you took the billions of burgers people have eaten and put them in a straight line they could circle the Earth more than thirty two times.
3) Every day one out of every ten americans visit a fast food resaruant.
4) Every day one out of every 14 people visit a McDondalds restaruant.
5) Hundreds of teens everyday gey stomach surgery from all the fat from the fast food.
You see fast food has been going on for nearly 100 years. Since then in america so many restaruants (espesially Mc Dondalds) have been puting WAY TOO MUCH FAT in the food they sell and always hide it. Have you ever seen a fast food commercial? You know how they always put skinny, happy people eating fast food like there’s nothing wrong with it and it’s perfectly healthy. All they ever talk about is the toys they have to make children whine for their fast food. That’s there main goal for fast food commercials. You see the toys they sell are really small, bad and cheap. They get them in huge packages and give one to every happy meal which makes the toy 5-15 cents. Then once they make a commercial about it they attract about 50% more people. It’s actually the kids that always make there parents pick the place to eat out. Then when they stop for a happy meal not only do they sell food to the kids but usually adults find something to eat too so they get a whole pack of people at once.
When it comes to jobs it’s the fast food jobs that people are always quiting. Usually when people find a job they intend to keep for many years. At fast food restaruants jobs only last approximately 3 months. Okay, you might be thinking that’s only because it’s mostly teenagers and when they grow up they go to college and find a job that pays better. Well actualy, it’s because of the smelly grease, careless managers and minimum wage. Usually teens find a job and a fast food restaruant when they’re 16-18 years old. They also still want to work not only at the end of high school but during colledge too. There is a story in chew on this about a kid named paul. He was a really good worker. Whenever there were people out on the job he was always there to help and espesially nice to his customars. He was always employ of the mont too. One day all the workers were given a grade for there work to get promotions. On the good side there was exceptional worker, reliable worker, good worker, and best worker. Paul was best but McDonalds was so cheap and ungenorous they gave Paul reliable worker which meant next to last. It also meant that he was promoted only 10 more cents an hour. From $5.15 to $5.25 per hour. After a whole week it would barely add up for enouph to buy a big mac. He looked around and noticed everyone else got poor grades too. In fact Paul was actually scored best becasue everyone else was scored at last place so they didn’t get promoted at all. Paul was very hurt so he quit since then he’s been going around giving a bad name for McDondalds and tried to sue the restaruant for selling terrible food and giving ufair pay to its workers but he was unsuccesful.
Fast food will probably finally fall one die but in the mean time americans should do whatever they can to show what fast food does, how it hurts people and later on can kill them and how the company doesn’t care.

Greedy – How the monkey unable to lift its hand from the pot?
A monkey doing most atrocities in a village. The people tried their level best to catch the monkey, but failed. The monkey is biting the children. It is threatening the goers etc.,
An elder man thought about it. He took a metal pot and also a fruit which will easily go into the pot.
He went to the tree where the monkey is living. The elder man gave a sound which attracted the monkey. The elder man put the fruit into the pot in front of the monkey.
The money came fast and put its hand into the pot and caught. but, the monkey tried its level best to take its hand but in vain.
The elderly man called the people. He said that the monkey lost its strength, and now you can catch it easily.
its okay. Now my question. while the monkey put easily its hand into the pot, but how it is unable to lift its hand from the pot?
admin answers:
Very simple!
The monkey was holding fruit in his hand that’s why he was not able to take his hand out of the pot.
In short greed of getting the fruit became his weakness.

A few questions regarding the law of attraction?
yes i believe in it. but i’m still quite in the fog in some areas. i’ve read The Secret by Rhoda Byrne, but there are still some parts in which i do not understand.
How fast does it work? Can it work on the impossible? like somethings that are not so possible. Does it really help you to lose weight? I need money right now, or rather, i need my parents to have more money right now. my father is a retiree and my mother is a government teacher. and she’s trying to cope with my sister’s college fees, her own university fees, my ballet and piano lessons, my sister’s piano diploma. and i’m wishing i could get braces. how can i help my mum attract more money? and how can i attract good results in my upcoming school test? and because i’ve just started ballet and i’m already 14, and so starting ballet at the age 14 means i’m in a class for beginners with people half of my age. i want to skip that, i want to skip to a higher grade. how do i do it?
just help me to master the law and THANKS!!

Your intentions are honorable. You want to help your family and yourself. That’s great.
The problem, is that “the secret” is no more than a fairy tale. It preys on the fantasies of children and adults who still long to believe that wishing a thing will make it so.
The bottom line, is that wishing a thing will not make it so.
Might changing your thinking (e.g., wishing) lead to a change in attitude? Absolutely. Might changing your thinking lead to a change in behavior? Without a doubt. Might changing you behavior lead a change in your emotions? Certainly.
But will a change in thinking lead to a magical attainment of money, skills or power? No. Sadly, it will not. That requires something different. And that “something different” has to do with PERSONAL, GOAL-DIRECTED behavior. In that sense, if you change in thinking lead to a change in BEHAVIOR, then yes – that would work.
For example, let’s say you started thinking to yourself that you could be a successful business woman. As a result of feeling like you could do it – you actually start up a business. You work hard at it, and you become successful, and make scads of money.
That is quite different from willing “the universe” to rain money down on you or magically bring money into your life. There is an extraordinarily important variable that “the secret” conveniently neglects to mention: ACTUAL, PERSONAL, GOAL-DIRECTED BEHAVIOR.
As a teenager, there is little you can do financially to support your parents. So what can you do? How about support them emotionally and behaviorally. Ask your parents specifically what you can do to make the money situation better. If a parent is looking for a better job, for example, maybe you could offer to iron Dad’s best suit if he has an interview. Maybe mom’s day at work would be less stressful if, when she came home, the house was cleaned up.
As for ballet – well – that’s probably just something you’re going to need to do (complete the beginner classes before completing advanced classes). There is no magical method for obtaining skills other than dancing and practice.
You sound like a good kid. Your parents are very fortunate.

Sharon asks…
Why do Indian people allways run Franchise buisnesses?
I’m not a racist person, nor an I trying to berate Indians, I think there damn hard working people who deserve every penny they work hard for. However, I just wonder why and how they come to operate businesses such as Liquor stores, Gas Stations, and fast food shops such as pizza. It this an Indian thing? Do they all pool their money and help each other? Are the profit margins so low they attract them? Is it a way to get a Visa?
admin answers:
They are trying to create jobs for poor unemployed Americans.

what is the best way to go about giving private guitar lessons?
keep in mind i’ve only been playing for 2 years but it seems like a good gig to put some extra money in my pocket
its their some sort of format i should fallow some easier way of teaching so that the student can learn fast
whats it all about do i just teach chords and licks how do i go about this
and whats the best way to attract students
admin answers:
I’d teach to younger kids, and probably get a book to teach out of.
I’ve been wanting to teach kids guitar out of my garage, but I’ve never had the time.
I always imagined my first lesson as a kid walking into a dimly-lit, smoky(fog machine) garage, with me sitting indian style on a stool in front of my amp. I’d do a quick sweep scale, then in a guru voice, say “that, was your first lesson”
